TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets will go on sale beginning Monday, May 4 at FWSD. $15 each. Everyone age 5 and older must have a ticket. Tickets will also be sold at the door until 6:30 pm. However, we highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
REHEARSAL: May 21…Drop Off is 5:30 pm. Dancers are to be IN COSTUME with hairpieces. Makeup is optional. Rhinehart Music Center on the campus of PFW. When entering the building walk straight down the hallway to the backstage entrance of Auer Hall where you will drop off your dancer to FWSD staff. Security will be at this entrance with a list of names of ONLY those allowed to enter. FWSD staff and volunteers have undergone background checks and Youth Safety Training.
THIS IS A CLOSED REHEARSAL Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby area or on the campus of PFW. Or return at dismissal time. For the younger students, proper dance shoes may be put on by the parents after entering the building.
PICK UP at 7:45 pm same as drop off. Please do not ask any dancers under 18 to meet you, but rather come inside to pick them up. We will absolutely do our best to dismiss students at 7:45. But please understand this time might vary slightly depending on rehearsal. Your patience is appreciated.
FRIDAY SHOWTIME DROP-OFF: Is promptly at 6:00 pm in the same location as rehearsal. Doors to auditorium open at 6:00 pm for audience members to enter. All seating is general admission.
SHOWTIME IS 6:30 pm. We ask that NO ONE LEAVE the auditorium during the show unless absolutely necessary. Please pass this information along to your guests. A slide show of our year will begin playing at 6:00. We anticipate our Production to be approximately 90 minutes in length. PFW ushers will not allow entrance to auditorium during a dance number.
PARKING: A free parking garage is located directly across from the Rhinehart Music Center.
At the end of the Production we ask that NO ONE come onto the stage. Following the Production please send ONE person (that FWSD staff recognizes) to the roped off area at backstage entrance where your dancer was dropped off to pick up your dancer. Please feel free to take pictures in the lobby/hallway area. Once dancers are picked up, instructors will also be available for pictures.
During showtime, the younger dancers, we will have coloring books, crayons, etc. backstage. We will have adult and teen supervision. There will be no snacks due to the timeframe being less than 2 hours. There is a drinking fountain and restrooms which we will take the dancers to as needed. Send NOTHING with your dancer besides extra costumes if needed. NO water bottles, jackets, street shoes, etc are to be sent backstage. These items are easily lost and difficult to track down for dismissal.
Video/Photography: Feel free to video your child’s performance with a hand held device only. NO tripods. Photos may also be taken, however NO flash photography.
Please note that a professional video of the entire production will be available for $15. You will be emailed a link to download 1-2 weeks following the production. Please sign up and pay at desk if interested.
Happy Ads ($15) and Business Ads ($50) will also be returning this year. These will appear in the slide show, the program and are announced from stage. A sample can be seen at the desk.
PLEASE NOTE…The week of May 11 will be the FINAL week of regular classes. NO REGULAR CLASSES WILL BE HELD at the studio the week of May 18. Just rehearsal on Thursday, May 21 and Show on Friday, May 22 at PFW.
